Jewish Roots of Christianity

Instructor: Rabbi Jay Shupack

Wednesdays: 6:30 to 8 PM

8 Sessions: July 13 to August 31

Join us for a special class taught by guest Rabbi Jay Shupack, called “The Jewish Roots of Christianity.” Over the course of eight weeks, Rabbi Jay will lead an in-depth exploration of early Jewish history – from Abraham to Roman Emperor Constantine – and how it relates to the way Judaism is practiced today and the founding of Christianity. The class will be taught with Rabbi Jay’s engaging blend of music, wisdom and humor that promises to educate, surprise and bring about lively discussion. Both Jews, Christians -- and anyone else interested in how these two great religions are intimately linked -- will get a lot out of the class. Intermarried couples should find it particularly enriching.
