Group Conversion Class

Pre-requisite: Judasim 201 or another introduction to Judasim approved by Rabbi Samuels. 

This class is intended to primarily for those persons interested in converting to Judaism. Jewish spouses, fiancé's, and significant others are encouraged to join the class as an expression of support and to build a common base of Judaic knowledge and experience that will enchance the overall relationship.

In these sessions, students will: discuss readings from assigned books; explore how to observe various Jewish rituals and holidays; and share written personal reflections from prompts given by the Rabbi. 

Participation in this class in no way obligates the student to convert to Judaism, but it is required that should be the student's goal. 

Each non-member student agrees to become part of the Congregation Beth Israel community by filling out out Conversion Membership form (only one per a family). 

Fee: CBI Members: $72; Non-Members: $432 ($360 Conversion Member rate + $72 fee).
