TERMS OF ENROLLMENT

We look forward to working in partnership with all of our parents and students to provide a high quality Jewish education in a safe and nurturing environment. In consideration for enrolling your children in the Kesher Center for Jewish Learning, you agree to the following terms, which may not be altered except by written permission of the Director:

1. I give permission for each child to engage in the normal activities of the school, including any programs and events that occur at the synagogue or off campus, such as special Shabbat services, parties and events. These activities include, but are not limited to, classroom learning, elective classes, physical recreation and games, cooking, eating, and arts and crafts.

2. I will receive a special form for any activity, such as a field trip, that takes place away from the synagogue campus, and I understand that if I do not return the form my child will not be allowed to participate in the activity.

3. I agree on behalf of me and my children to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Kesher Center for Jewish Learning, including all employees and volunteers, from any liability arising out of participation in school and congregational activities that take place at the synagogue and any other special activities that I have approved, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

4. I will receive a copy of the Kesher Parent Handbook, and if applicable the B'nai Mitzvah handbook. Additional copies may be obtained from the CBI administrative office at any time. I agree that my children and I will abide by the rules contained in those manuals.

5. I agree to pay tuition as set forth in this form

I agree to make my best effort to have my student(s) attend all Kesher sessions, attend with my student(s) on the 2 Family Days, and support the school through approximately 5 hours of volunteering if and when possible. If any student will be absent for a Kesher class, or our family and/or student is unable to attend a Family Day, I will notify the Education Director.

PARENT PARTICIPATION

Four of our seven goals at Kesher depend on participation and engagement from the whole family.

We have created more opportunities for family engagement, in an effort to create the most impact and learning for our children and the whole community.

In order to succeed, we need YOU as active partners. Your involvement in Kesher, and your commitment to life-long learning will inspire your child's interest, and deepen their connection to Judaism.

For these reasons, we ask every family to commit to two requirements:

We encourage each family to do five volunteer hours with Kesher per year. There are many opportunities to volunteer depending on your interests and talents. Some are time specific, others can be done whenever convenient. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Education Director. We want every family to experience the benefits full involvement in the community will bring. Our goal in providing this wide array of opportunities and encouraging volunteerism from everyone, is to build deeper bonds and connections within Kesher, and enhance your whole family's Jewish learning and our program through your support.

In case of injury or illness while your child is at school, every effort will be made to contact the parent or emergency contact. The following instructions will remain in force unless revoked by the parent/guardian in writing.

TUITION INFORMATION

Congregation Beth Israel strongly believes that Jewish education should be available and accessible to all. Financial aid is available to members of Congregation Beth Israel. Please fill out a financial aid request online.

Special discounts are available. They include a sibling discount of $25 per additional student, and an early bird discount of $25 per student for families who register by 7/22/2022.

Mazel Tots- Birth to age 2; meets once/month for 10 months.

Gan Yeladim Pre-school age 3-5; meets twice/month for 10 months. Please enter the number of students enrolling in each section below.
