Dedications

ded·i·cate (verb used with object) 1. to set apart and consecrate to a deity or to a sacred purpose, as in testimony of respect or affection; 2. to devote wholly and earnestly, as to some person or purpose.

Congregation Beth Israel’s new synagogue building will be our spiritual center, a place for each of us to make a personal connection. We encourage you to do this by making a dedication in honor of someone who has guided or influenced you either in the past or in the present.

Dedications range from chairs, benches and classrooms, to the whole building or campus. Based on tradition, certain religious facilities and items will not be offered for dedication, such as the Sanctuary, Ark and Ner Tamid. The list may be expanded in the future.

Significant financial support is still needed to complete the building. Please consider this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help complete our synagogue and at the same time leave an enduring legacy.

Choose the items you are interested in dedicating, and a member of the Capital Campaign will contact you to discuss availability and payment details.

Dedication requests may be reserved upon signature of a pledge form and receipt of a good faith down payment. Reserved dedications will become permanent (secured) when the pledge is paid in full. Dedication plaques will be placed when construction is complete.
